Viator Media signs an agreement to promote the Way of the Holy Grail

On November 2nd, Viator Media signed a Collaboration Agreement with the Cultural Association in charge of the Holy Grail Route (Asociación Cultural Camino del Santo Grial, in the original Spanish). The collaboration aims at widely promoting The Way of the Holy Grail, Route of Knowledge, Path of Peace.

In a centuries-long journey, the Holy Grail (the legendary Cup believed to be the one that Jesus drank out of at the Last Supper) traveled from Jerusalem to Valencia city. This route traces the Cup’s footsteps in Spain, ending at the noted Cathedral de Valencia.

Thanks to the efforts of the founders of the Asociación Cultural Camino del Santo Grial, this medieval pilgrimage trail, which covers around 18 villages and cities, two national parks, and countless Roman and early medieval constructions, is available for everyone. At first, the Asociación wanted to revive an ancient medieval route going from the monastery of San Juan de la Peña all the way to Valencia. Nowadays, the route is a great European project that includes Jerusalem, Rome, and Naples. The route in Spain, which begins in the Pyrenees, is quickly becoming one of the most important pilgrimage paths in the Iberian Peninsula (and in Christianity as a whole) because of its capital historical, cultural, and spiritual significance.

For Viator Media, this agreement is an important step towards our main goal: collecting and promoting all the pilgrimage routes in the world through fresh and innovative storytelling, while advocating for a sustainable way of traveling –one that also fosters interreligious and intercultural dialogue, helping people get in touch with each other, with themselves, and with nature.
